Lizz Clements

Clements was born in Derry, NH, a suburb approximately 45 minutes from Boston. She began writing in elementary school, collaborating with friends and siblings on projects like Star Wars fan-fiction and graphic novels. Forgoing college, Clements self-published her first book in 2001. Marie's Book of Spells consisted of just thirty pages but began Clements' writing career.

Shortly thereafter, she self-published Car Chases & Fake Bologna and Apollo Weeps. Both books are collections of poetry and prose and feature journal entries and "musings" about life, love, and the written word.

Clements has been published by poetry collections and magazines and has contributed to blogs and e-zines. From 2008 to 2009 she worked as a photographer for The Inter-Mountain newspaper in Elkins, WV. She won two prizes from the WV Press Association for her work as a photo-journalist. In addition to working on several manuscripts, Clements writes frequently for Associated Content. She is always working on new writing projects and frequently shares her progress through her blog.
