Smashwords Interview

Life and inspiration?
Frank's works like his life are woven with passion, intrigue, sensuality and reflection. From the historical fiction of The Arius Scrolls, to the suspense of The Fragments of Faust, and the nature of reincarnation in The Shadows of Lhasa, The Elusive Mistress of Thomas Paine and other works, he interweaves curiosity, doubt, humor, the erotic and romance.

Different authors have inspired him for different reasons. A sentence, sometimes a paragraph and other times a page or chapter and every so often an entire work caused him to feel that as if he was part of the experience. Some works affected his soul and others his intellect and emotions. From Voltaire’s Candide, Conrad’s Lord Jim, Miller’s Tropic of Capricorn, Heller’s Catch 22, Steinbeck’s Grapes of Wrath, Endo’s Silence, Abe’s The Woman in the Dunes, Kafka’s The Trial and Baker’s Fermata. The list is long. Sometimes a particular work is remembered for the language, a group of words expressing an idea. Non-fiction interests are broad from space exploration, biographies, justice, science, nature and the natural.

Besides consulting, reading, yoga, painting & cooking, Frank is experimenting with Tibetan dream yoga.
