Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I am an engineer of computer and automatic control, graduated from Ain Shams University in Egypt in 1989. Later, I upgraded my educational level and got my master (MBA) in IT Management from Leicester University in the UK.
I have extensive experience in portfolio management, program management, project management and PMO. I practiced the implementation of project management office, program management office, and portfolio management office for the different models: Supportive, Directive and Controlling.
I have practical experience in delivering sensitive projects and programs under high pressure, harsh target deadlines, and budget challenges.
When did you first start writing?
My first writing was "Passing the PfMP Exam the First Time", which was renamed in my second edition to "Passing the PfMP Exam: A Study Guide".
I decided to write this book because I suffered during my PfMP exam preparation from the shortage of guidance and misleading sample Q&A for the PfMP exam. Therefore, after passing the PfMP exam successfully, I decided to write my first book to help others in passing the PfMP exam from the first time.
