Biography

My first two published books focused on physical beauty: SEX, LIES AND COSMETIC SURGERY (with sound advice and personal emotional undercurrents to cosmetic surgery) and TICK TOCK, STOP THE CLOCK ~ GETTING PRETTY ON YOUR LUNCH HOUR (with chapters written by eleven nationally renowned experts and outstanding practitioners, detailing many of the most current minimally invasive beauty procedures).

And then my writing career took a seemingly sharp turn as I began to focus on inspiring stories, stories to touch the heart and soul. But in truth this was not a new interest for me, as I always had a special appreciation for feel-good stories that reach the inner spirit, inspire, motivate, make us question. I started to develop this idea further as I initiated a TALES2INSPIRE™, an "Authors Helping Authors" project/contest, with contributing stories from other talented writers. Three and a half years later, I have published four Tales2Inspire books of inspiring stories. Each is named for a gemstone symbolic of the theme of that book an each is filled with gems of inspiring non-fiction stories. These little jewel books include: The Emerald Collection, a book of "Beyond Coincidence" stories, The Topaz Collection, a book of "Awakenings & Ah-ha Moments" , The Sapphire Collection, Stories that "Echo In the Mind" and the Ruby Collection, Gifts of Compassion. It is an ongoing joy for me to share thee wonderful stories with the world and give so many talented authors the recognition they deserve.

Tell us about your Tales2Inspire series of books.
Each of my Tales2Inspire books is filled with Inspiring Stories so they are somewhat related despite the theme differences.
Right now I have four published books in this series: Tales2Inspire ~ The Emerald Collection, which is a collection of 'Beyond Coincidence' stories,Tales2Inspire ~ The Topaz Collection, a collection of ' Awakenings and Aha Moments' stories, Tales2Inspire ~ The Sapphire Collection, a group of stories that 'Echo In the Mind' and Tales2Inspire ~ The Ruby Collection, stories that give 'Gifts of Compassion' .
Where did you get the idea for these books?
To begin with, I simply enjoy inspirational stories and believe the world needs more of them to counteract all the gloom and doom news we are bombarded with daily. But I also know there are many talented authors out there who never get the recognition they deserve. This has become my personal “Authors Helping Authors” project. I help give my Tales2Inspire winners quite a boost in establishing themselves as authors of talent. And that feels really good!
