Lorna loves her rescue cat, Ulisse, as well as thunderstorms, jumping into ice-cold lakes, snowflakes, her tiny balcony garden and a good G&T. When she's not writing, she's teaching IB English Literature to Middle School students near Lake Como.

Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes, I was published in the Johannesburg newspaper ("The Star") for a short story I wrote called The City.

My desk is not particularly tidy, although I am comfortable working there. I write myself post-it notes as reminders. These are everywhere. Desk. Fridge. Inside my purse.
How far would you go to save your own life? Finding Daylight is the story of Alonso, a man whose seemingly perfect life is turned upside down after he dreams of his own death - and then meets his supposed assassin the next day! Set in New York and Madrid, the story follows Alonso on a journey of self-discovery as he sets out to expose his new colleague as a cold-blooded killer.
