Louise Onen

I was born and grew up in Pietermaritzburg, Natal. In my late twenties, I moved to Cape Town where my life changed when I became a Christian and I attended the Bible Institute of South Africa for a year.
On my return to Durban, I married Jim and during those years travelled extensively. I also worked in administration which I enjoyed and completed my BTH and honours degrees.
Jim died after 26 years of marriage and it was in the following six years of being widowed that I initiated an inner city ministry in the Albert Park area. It was during this time that I met my future husband Godfrey and together we served the Lord in the most rewarding years of my life.
I then took time off to read for my MTH degree in Biblical Studies and now contemplate researching for a PHD.
Writing is a (brave) new and exciting venture for me, having always been an avid reader and of course I desire that what I commit to paper will also be a blessing to others.
