This book really got me thinking about life and how every little thing matters. Bud's attention to both the profoundly beautiful and hideously atrocious sides of humanity made every little bit exciting to read. As I usually listen to audiobooks (due to my lack of free time) this ebook was so convenient...I read it in less than a week! (I was given a copy before it went to print.)
Considering I am relatively new to understanding the gospel, Jesus Christ and God, this book proved to be an intensely rich read for me. I am not interested in "on the surface" ideas...and Robinson does an amazing job at dissecting Christian theism like a seasoned pro. I can easily describe this book as my armor of strength that I can refer back to if ever I need a complete and comprehensive explanation of the Christian worldview. At the end of the book, Robinson closes in a statement that gleams with encouraging truth, "Therefore, men and brethren, on to victory; let the crown that is before you, nerve you to the fight; to victory; to victory; and on, on, on!"
The thorough and thought-provoking content in this book could easily shatter any anti-theistic justification.
Michael Robinson's "The Sure Existence of Moral Absolutes," can easily be described as an adhesive force, powerfully drawing the reader (I'm assuming of Christian faith) to the truths of God's unchanging foreverness by expanding in depth on the certainty of His existence. It is true, that "without God, one cannot, in principle, account for anything," and Robinson's detailed demonstrations assert an irrefutable proof against any anti-theistic claims.
