Smashwords Interview

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
Nowhere, because I've never really grown up. However, this lack of adulthood has been a positive influence on my writing, because it hasn't become jaded as I've gotten older.
When did you first start writing?
While I was at school, but I never had the persistence then to finish more than short stories.

IF YOU COULD CHANGE THE WORLD, WHAT WOULD YOU DO? And what would happen to you when you did? Starbound's four novels tell the stories of a few idealists who are given that opportunity – and the often unintended consequences of their actions. Doing the right thing is not as easy as it seems. For every positive change, there are always losers as well as winners. And the losers are often influential people who resent their loss of power and will do anything to regain it... Today's turbulent world is the inspiration for this alternative history. Starting in 2003, the timeline diverges from real events and takes you on a journey into one of our possible futures. When complete, the series will be: Exit Strategy, Headlong, Plan B, Plan C, although each is a standalone work and you can read them in any order.
