Luke Binetti is a West Australian poet, playwright, theatre-maker, and the co-founder of Improve Silence; a Perth based not-for-profit theatre company which produces works with positive social impact. Best known for his play Rather Than Later, which premiered at the 2017 Perth Fringe Festival as a part of The Blue Room Theatre's Summer Nights program, Binetti's honest and natural approach to storytelling is often juxtaposed with his unconventional use of language and poetry. This amalgamation of naturalistic form and presentation style is what characterises the young writer's work.
Our Father Who Art Somewhere
by Luke Binetti
Our Father Who Art Somewhere is a window into the relationship between a group of siblings and a father who didn't stick around. From the eldest and only brother's perspective it explores themes of loss, respect, familial dysfunction, and the search for guidance that takes place when a family is ruptured.
