Ottway Hammond

Ottway Hammond is the pen name of the founder of the L.U.P.A. 2020 Project. He is particularly interested in the intersection of neuroscience, biophilosophy, cybertechnology, and art.

The name Ottway Hammond calls to mind two fictional characters--John Ottway from The Grey, and John Hammond from Jurassic Park--who use their knowledge of nature to seize control and, unintentionally, endanger everyone around them. The name reminds the author to be cautious in his pursuit of powerful, fascinating, and technically sweet breakthroughs in psychedelic neural modulation.
