Life is a journey for us all; the paths we follow are not always the right ones. Mistakes are the stones that are the ones we often trip over, sometimes painfully. The one constant that is a minefield of emotions, is the one thing we all search for – love.
we live life like that of a butterfly, fluttering about daily not always in control of the flight. searching for riches, sustenance and the ever elusive cherished love - the latter found in the most unlikely places.
Some very poignant and moving poems, that almost made you feel you are in the trenches with all the fighting men. "The unforgotten soldier" i found really takes you into the thoughts of one on the front line, his fears and hopes.
I sent a lot of time over last night reading this book, which i found had some very moving poetry - There is only one criticism that it does not flow or look right on kindle, which i find sad as otherwise is well worth reading and keeping to re-read again. So for that reason alone i cannot give it 5 stars which the work itself is worthy.
Wonderful book, I really enjoyed the emotion filled poetry - You can feel the sadness and happiness this writer has woven into each verse. 5 Star rated - I reviewed this a few months ago but the review did not show the rating.
