MacLean has always been passionate about travelling and experiencing new foods and cultures. During his time working overseas he was able to travel to several countries throughout SE Asia and Europe, from Bangkok to Paris. It is these experiences which helped create his eclectic cooking style of modern international flavours based strongly in classical technique.
MacLean is currently executive chef at Centara Resort and Spa, Ras Fushi, Maldives.
