i like the plot but the writer could have written more make the Story longer. would have been awesome because the carakters were realy likable to. It felt like speeding throug a nice book you know, like leaving out the backstorys wen you´ve already read it once and just read your favorite parts. still an nice read.

i like the caracters. the lead Lady is likable, the lead guy is nice. ist nicely writhen and it has got a intresting plot my opinion: i can not put my finger on it but ther is just somethin mising for me .maibee the caracter Dynamics is missing out ore something i dont know. it is ok but it was just not my Kind of book.

sooo... it has got a lot of sex in it (suprise). there is a lot man on man Action, more than i like, but still interesting. the Story Centers around John. his Feelings his journe to find himself i gues. it is dark and you will not know about Helenas Intentions untill the end. an interestin read. Spoiler: so John loves women (in the beginning), he is a mans man. he is treatet "better" then the other servents until Helena Comes back. about Helena she is dificult, untill the end i did not now if she was "good" ore just evil in a candy disguis. it seems she fell for the humans and their world and actualy wants them to grow and develop. (oh my god, she has got a heart) so wen she Comes back to her Castle she sees someting in John that will help her to get her endgame but messes up his live in proces.he is in for it. he falls in love with her. he gets kidnapt and tortured. John is a broken man for a wile, but then discovers love between man (he enjois that!) he loves Helena still but is not sure about here intentions he wants but can not qiet trust her. everithing turns out ok in the end but John is left behind. though i think he will find love with a maid (it is not in the book so only my guess) it is not boring, a bit dark maybe but enteraining.

an awesome book. this book is about luke and Karina. Luke is a Vampire but not one of the realy bad ones he Drinks mainly animal blood (without killing them) but once in a wile he Needs human blood (he does not kill humans eighter) thouse humans he calls his Verae. One night wen he is looking for a new verae his atentione fals to Karina, she seems different (he does not know how right he is about that) and he is instantly mesmerised by her. Karina sees a stranger (who is luke) and the first thing she notises are his blue eyes. she is mesmerised by him as he is by her! one Thing leads to another and then Geric (not a nice Vampire, he likes to throw little Girls from roofes) happens and.... well you are going to have to read this book to know more. it´s a realy nice red. ist not just a romance Story, it has Action and some nice supernatural/fantasy in it. I enjoid it.

i enjoied readint this book. for me it has something fresh about it. she is strong and stuborn, caring and selfles.she absolutely does not want to be on that iseland and plans to escape but not alone, she wants to take all the other kiddnaped woman with her. he is stron and stuborn as well. he seemed frustrated and unhappy that his future is decidet by a ritual, wich makes him look like a distant, unfrindly jerk. both of them are not happy with the whole Thing, but the ritual draws them together...... i think this is a great start for an awesome book.

Shows a different Marlow, i am happy he is not always that serious, paranoid and kind of grumpy. Although i like marlow in the cassy palmer series (not everyone can be a happy caracter it would be boring) i am glad to see him a litle more happy and relext (Kind of, no i canged my mind happy and relaxt he is not, tankfully) :) love it!!!

i love this book, it has got sad, HOT and also very happy and heart warming Moments. dreamy but not without some troubled caracters. the storyline is great. i dont want to give away to much, just read the description. i enjoied it a lot. what else can i say, i can only recomend this book.

this book is awesome! i never cry but this is at times so sad and a bit heartbreaking..... i could not help but shed some tears (a verry big compliment to this book!). it is lovely to read. the end mackes my heart ache..... heavy stuff.... not just the ending the whole book touchd me deeply. i will read this again for sure!!!

great Story! loved it! the lead Lady is realy lovable and the three Brothers are.... (no words! somebody tell me were to find guys like that, seriously!!!), love,feelings, Family denamics and a bit Action! not boring! i liked it!!! :) Spoiler: (thats my opinion!!!!) the Story was great, it´s got a lot of love and pasion between the four (a bit unusual and i think a nice Fantasy. These Brothers are kinda perfect, no complains from me :) you got to know a bit about the bad guy (a bit more would not hurt thoug) to but i wanna know more about the leads Background, wait it out it´ll come! but for the birthday part and the brother and the father!!! WHAT HAPEND!!!!i realy wantet to know more about her Family. a litle more Action, ore at least give us more of the Hospital part i want a showedown!!!but nope the bad guy just dies! and what hapend to the marshals daughter?But three strong guys right, so somone just cut down that tree, you know Kids!!! :D (hope that tree is gone) like i said ist just my opinion! Spoiler end you should read it, it is an amusing and an entertaining book!

very enjojable read. well written and entertaining. the end leaves you wondering a bit, but i think because there is a second part a secuell ore something because it said book 1 as well. witch is ok....:( what els can you say. that one star is missin because i feelt that the mane male caracters view was missing/lacking. if his opinions, feelings, view were includet more it would be a truly awesome 5 stare book for me. So, he is just so stubornly holding on to his rock star Image... he could be a good guy but is just acting like a jerk so mutch...... the man had it hard in the past to dont get me wrong, but he is spoiled and just cant handle life i think.... give it time with the mane female caracter in his life and some cange of his vewe he´d be able to be a happy man in the end.So, she is very likable whit a dificult background and family, hard working and a good person(in my opinion). i am happy that she gets to .....(Spoiler!)..... work in antarctica in the end as she dreamd of! she so deserves something good happening to her... p.s.: sorry about my bad spelling.

Well..... this book was... ommmm... it was.... it was GREAT! it realy is a awesome read! i love the caracters and the story is awesomee as well. It has action, humor and heart. I absolutely love the fact that most every caracter was telling the storry in his ore here view, it was refreshing and you got to know and love all the caraters from the start. there are so many caracters that sometimes wen there are so many caracters in a book i tend to mix them up in the beginning before i can figure aout all the caracter individual caracters! it did so not happen in this book due to the awesome fact that the writer let all here caracters tell the tale at some point! verry enjoyable and just 5 stars for me!!!! :) SPOILER: Now this is my opinion and how i understod the book. well it starts of with this iritate and slightly pissed of guy, who turns out to be King of the Jinn. He is being summond, nobody ever summons Jinn because it is considerd very rude. so ofcourse he is not to happy right now. Well he and his man arrive at the pinpoint were the one who deared to summon the KING of the Jinn is, but there was noting but a cabin with a caved in wall. after a bit of a look around Jericho (king of the Jinn) finds a female who holds increadible unharnesed power but at the same time desguises here self so well the Jinn did not feel ore Register her presence at all. Jericho is instantly drawn to her and feels a deep bond/conection of some sort.after her rescue she does not remamber anithing but her Name wich is Abe. Every male including Jericho dont thinke the masculine Name fits the pretty blond with the sweet and happy personality. after a wile Abe gets kidnappet by one of Jarichos enamys. she manages to escape with some help from bear (who is one of my most favorite caracters!!!OMG i want one!!!!) It turns out Abe is a Prinsesse and..... Well i coult tell you eveithin and i would so enjoy to write it all down. but you are going to have to buy this book to know more! and Boy is there more!!!! i´ll so read it again for sure!!! SPOILER END: it is so great i can not wait to know more. I love all the caracters but my most favorite are Rad, Bear, Reno, Zulu, Conn, and so many more... i love them all!!!!!

absolutely awesome! there is so much i could say about this book... but i wount. i have read and re-read the prequell to this book sooooo many times it´s nearly criminal.... i finally had no other choice. i just had to read this, so i bougth it... startet reading wile on vacation and finished it on my second day! i waitet almost a week an re-read it... going to read it again sooon im sure! this book had me laughing, cringing, crying, hoping, shouting and deliriously happy! i dont know what to tell you exept i seldomly have enjoyed a book so much. i hereby salute and thank this fabulous Autor for her amazing mind and work. (p.s.: apollogys for all the spelling and grammar Errors.)

i liked this book a lot! i liked that it playd in the future, not a future i would enjoy Living in but very interesting and magical... the lead man is way to awesome (understanding, caring, loving, intuitiv.... hell, he is so made up, to good to be true, dream material, a real romance caracter an for a viking, all though around a 1000 years old, so verry tame, he could have been a litle ruffer around the edges but he still is to die for!!!) the lead Lady has had a realy hard life (i mean... insert swear words here!) she is so likable and so strong, i admire her for her strenght! all in all lovely caracters, Drama, Action, love and much more.... 5 stars from me p.s.: sorry about all my gramma Errors... :)

this book is different... is all i can say.. if it realy was like this... it gives you to think aniway. it Shows how angles are also just beeings and i realy like the Point of view. it opens room for me to evaluate and question. i would not exactly consider it a romance book though... it may be seen as something Close to romance in the world of angels and heaven, but to me it feels more like deep frindship ore siblings love and not romance... that just my Point of view. great read!

I am in love with this book just like with Jericho and Reno, i am so happy that we get to know more about CCX his Family and Vampires.... stacey is a realy great woman and verry entertayning, i love that she is a strong lead female caracter, feisty and headstrong with a temper, a real worrior! just amazing....

well... i have read it. it is a very fast inastlove Story. i cant help but feel that this storry was to rushed for my liking. the plot is realy good and in my opinion if there would be some more Story to the Story it could be awesone but i just could not get a real feel for the maincaracters it also was told in a spen of barly a day so far. it is a clifhanger to.... i can not rate this book because it feels like the Autor put efort in to this but just rushed it to much for my liking. so i liked it but i did not love it. just meh... altoug i would like to know who shot him, bloody curious me!

i enjoied this book. Roth is verry uncomunicative towards Rainey... she would be much more cooperative if he would talk more(probably a litle, no probably not at all. but he could have tryed...) also he is stuborn and of Cours she does not Need to know anithing because he is so much older and wiser... like f** it all my mission is important nothing else..she'll deal ore she wont but she'll live...man! Rainey is so bloody stuborn and shorsighted, selfish and a little princess,the world circles around her and everithing has to be as she wants it to be... i am so brilliant! my work, my work! i get her and i understand him to but man... with the unusual and Magic world of the thirteen, witch was not explaind much(i would have liked to know more about that), it is a interesting book.... not my favorite because i think it could have been longer, i dont know, but it does not feel to hurried when they trevel, it is ok then but somethimes it is lacking Story. for example: it just seems the mistery/Magic with dreams and all could have been more, also i am just missing backstory and somethimes caracter ineteraction... i dont know i am missing something... so only 4sars p.s.: sorry about my spelling... deal ore dont but you'll live :)

i liked it! i am telling you it is verry interesting. i dont know what else to tell you though... i think it is short... feels like a sneak Peak book but a very good one whit a awesom Story no open end just a good read, verry addictive to me. the Story the caracters i liked it all, it is not your usual romance novel but kind of is to. dunno... the caracters are geneticaly matched so Pheromons and stuff. insta love in space whith Aliens.. i am so intrigued.. i would not usualy give it 5 stars because... i dont know it feels i have read books way better but the storry line is so awesome that it is a 5 star to me!

Ich lese meistens nur noch in englisch den die meisten Autoren die ich gerne lese schreiben auch auf englisch und bei der Übersetzung auf deutsch geht für mich immer etwas verloren. Ich bin so froh das ich über dieses Buch gestolpert bin. Ich mag die Hauptfiguren sehr und generell die ganze Geschichte. Ich muss sofort mehr von diesen Büchern lesen! Ich empfehle dieses Buch auf jeden Fall weiter denn ich habe es sehr genossen und hoffe es wird anderen genau so gehen.

i Kind of tripped over "the governess affair" written in german and i realy enjoied it so i investigatet... turns out ther are a lot more books by this Autor in several other languages... i happen to find this book whitch is the first of the series, the other one i mentiond above is the prequell.. this one is free in english but not in german so i thought to my selfe: Twist my arm, i am gona read it... so i was surprised that the german one is as nice to read as the english on...loved this book just as much, i guesse evan more as the other one.i like this book so much i went and bought the box set... there you have it....Horror i always get obsesd with stuff... one day i ll be found dead underneat a sh...t toon of books...
