This is one really fun mystery. I didn't know what to expect as mysteries tend to be written rather seriously, but the protagonist (Lola) has a sharp wit with plenty of sarcasm as well. Along with the great humor, the book has suspense, intrigue, and plenty of well fleshed-out supporting characters. I realized that this is second in a series, but it can easily stand alone. I plan to definitely pick up a copy of the first book. I like Lola, and her world is very entertaining, I will be looking forward to more of this series!
