Will have to check into more books by this author. I read this in an evening as I just couldn't stop....kept wanting to know what would happen next with Claire and Ben with sincerely provoked interest. The characters are well developed into being very "likable" with a real sense of humor -- and very human. Seems I wanted to get to know them better, or perhaps it triggered memories? The love scenes were more gentle, not so falsely steamy and overdone as in some books I've read recently, and I just skip over the scenes. This is a book that will pique your interest in the outcome of their relationship -- will it happen? Will Claire take the chance of sharing her secret? Will Ben hang in there with his attraction to Claire, or give up and move on? More to come and I hope there will be a sequel. MJ

A thought-provoking story, with an unexpected pregnancy treated in an unusual way, given the life experience of Jack. The author teases us a bit from the opening pages, and the unexpected turn of events that continue through the storyline. This is another story which seems to focus on the pain caused by either lack of communication or mis-communication, and the confusion that results. But I do love a happy ending. A good read, and will look for others by this author
