Maggie Santangelo

Biography

Maggie's debut fiction novel, The Mystic, is the beginning book in a supernatural series. The inspiration for this series comes from her fascination in the paranormal and the occult. Poltergeists and ghosts often capture her attention more than the living. She got her first tarot card deck when she was fourteen and is self-taught in the study of the cards and their nature.

She earned her Bachelors in Arts in English in 2010 and has been writing professionally since 2011. Creatively she's been writing since the third grade when she was given her first diary; since then she’s developed a lifelong friendship with journaling. She has a passion for reading and language and wants nothing more than to share her stories with others.

Maggie is a child of the 70s and is prone to nostalgia. Her father was in the Air Force, so she was raised on bases across the USA. Her nomadic upbringing influences her point of view regarding relationships and what home means to different people. Her strict religious education gives a solid foundation to branch out and learn about world religions, and this shows through in her writing.

Her favorite writers are Dean Koontz, John Grisham, Michael Crichton, Jackie Collins, and so many more. She strives to write and tell stories as well as her heroes.

She has settled in Tampa, Fl. with her family and lives with her son, Chase, their golden retriever, Hunny and cat, Luna.
