Maggie Silwood


Maggie Silwood was born and raised in Nottingham, England. She spent her formative years working in advertising, then for an airline, which led her to move to Eastern Europe. After returning to the UK, she became a mature student and trained as a Careers Counsellor, working in this field for over twenty years. Since then, Maggie has written a number of acclaimed short stories, winning first prize in a national daily newspaper. Her stories have also featured on local radio. She now spends most of her time in a beautiful part of Andulacia, Spain, with her husband and dog and devotes herself to writing full time.
