  • Hekate's Passage: A Story of Sex and Rock'n'Roll, Part 1, Vol. 1 on April 03, 2013

What I love most is definitely heavy metal music as I’m a singer and guitarist myself, still waiting for his big break :) . Sex and heavy metal have always been strongly connected and what aspiring rocker doesn’t like to fantasize about hardcore sexual experience with his fans? Especially so kinky and hot like the female protagonists :) . I’m sure you’ve already read about it in all the other reviews so is there any need for me to say that it’s cock stiffening to say the least :) ? Not only is the book full of twisted sex but it also has a great story and character development. The fantasy vibe is fresh and, unlike most erotic novels, not cheesy but it’s definitely the guys’ portraits which got me so much into the book. Each of them is a bit different and it doesn’t take long to identify with Colin, Tony (my personal favorite), Jim and Ted. Identifying them doesn’t take a Sherlock Holmes, too. Certain lines make it sure for every heavy metal fan who the guys really are, not only Julian Twist but also bands like Silver Viper and Steel Virgin which also make appearance in the book. It’s not only about their look, their personalities go nicely along with what every heavy metal fan already know about these rockers. I must say that the “alternative names” made me laugh a lot because although they are different enough to avoid any law problems by the authors, it is really obvious who these guys are. I’d recommend the book for every single 80’s rock and metal fan, both female and male. You can really see the authors’ devotion to that certain period in music and as I’ve already played the “first heavy metal computer game of the XXI century”, Brutal Legend, now it came time for “first heavy metal erotic novel of the XXI century” :) . Both are really a treat, so don’t miss that one! If you’re not a metal/rock fan, you’ll miss a lot of references but it’s well written enough to have a good time nevertheless!
