Margaret Cunningham

Biography

Margaret Cunningham born the youngest of six children, lives in Dublin with her three daughters.

Some years ago, she earned the dubious accolade of ‘One of the Five Wildest Women in Ireland’ when she entered and won a national radio competition, much to her daughters’ chagrin. Along with her title came a ‘once in a lifetime’ adventure trip to South Africa, where her dream of going on safari was realised. Although, the pay back did involve a bungee jump – not recommended for the faint hearted!

Self-employed for almost twenty years, her business went to the wall in September 2009 with the demise of the Celtic Tiger and she has used the intervening time to chase the dream of becoming a full time writer. With two completed novels under her belt, she is now tapping away furiously on her third!
