  • Toast With Jelly, The Tragedy of a Lesbian Confused on June 29, 2017

I thought this was well written. I read a 4 star review from reader views about this book that said it was raw and emotional and was intrigued. I agree with that reviewer. It was a raw, emotional story that had sections that could have been taken from the pages of many people's lives in the world we live today. I would definitely read more from this author.
  • Dark Escape on June 29, 2017

This book is a New Adult book but I think it is good for younger readers too. It's a great paranormal mystery thriller with a little bit of romance in it. This is book one of a two but it could easily end there and be a stand alone. I like the fact that the author didn't end the book with a cliff hanger that drives you crazy while you wait for the next book to be published. I found it to be a fast and enjoyable read.
  • For Love of a Vampire on July 01, 2017

I have purchased every book this author has written and must say that she has become one of my favorite authors. I enjoyed the way she was able to keep me guessing as to who was the good guy and who was the bad. I enjoy mostly all historical romances that is my style of book but i thought i would take a chance and WOW am i glad i did. It has every thing you would want in a good book romance, suspense, mystery, and of course the drama. I would say to anyone who is looking for a good book to give this author a try for you will not be disappointed in the least.
  • Vampire Iniquity on July 03, 2017

This is a romance series with a twist. If you're looking for a sappy romance novel where you know the ending by page 50, this isn't the book for you. But, if you want a novel that has hot, sexy heros doing what needs to be done all for the sake of love, then by all means reaad this book. It has love, intrigue, danger, heartache, discovery, lovliness, grossness, etc. The characters were wll written. I could easily see myself having coffee with any of them. I can't wait to read books 2 and 3.
  • The Princess and the Vampire King on July 04, 2017

What a great story! I loved the reaction Jessica had when she woke up from her ordeal with the lizard people and saw Jack for the first time. I found the story to be well written. The characters had believable personalities. Eileen's sense of humor showed on more than one occasion, which kept me smiling. I agree that this is a little steamy for the young adults, but its certainly not graphic like erotica or anything like that. Just a little loving mixed in with action, drama, and problem solving. Great job!
  • The Cure on July 06, 2017

The story took a twist from focusing on killing evil vampires to actually teaming up with them to help Ben find a cure for his werewolf affliction. I loved the way Ben and Tamara hooked up in the cave. Very creative. Eileen kept true to her writing skills and developed the characters and the story line in a believable and likable way. All in all, it was an enjoyable read that made me excited about continuing on with the story in book 3!
  • Vampires and Werewolves on July 06, 2017

I read book 2, "The Cure", and couldn't take a break. I immediately had to read book 3. Eileen kept me on the edge of my seat as well as surprised me with a few things. Vympires from the planet Vympirus? Now that's a new twist to the story. I liked the fact that the Vympires were good and the vampires are a mutant strain of them. The fact that Dan found love among them when he's a slayer was a nice touch. All in all.... I highly recommend this trilogy. I think it was left so that it could become more than a trilogy. If that happens, I will definitely continue reading.
  • Love Misunderstood on July 09, 2017

I read that Ailene Frances and Eileen Sheehan are the same author. Since I'm hooked on Eileen Sheehan's paranormal romances, I decided to give her historical romance a try. I wasn't sure how she'd managed to create a good love story that contained some mystery and excitement without vampires or ghosts, but she did a great job of it. I've actually pre-ordered her second historical novel, Paper Widow and am eagerly awaiting its release.
  • The Vampire, The Handler, and Me on July 15, 2017

Best Vampire Book I have Ever Read I read this book and was taken by surprise that i would like a contemporary when all my other book are normally historical romance. I have found a new favorite author and am looking forward to reading more from this author.
  • Vampire Witch (Book one of the Vampire Witch Trilogy) on July 25, 2017

What a great story! I usually don't get into dystopian novels, but I like vampire romances and I like this author so I gave it a try. I'm really glad I did. Although it takes place in the future after a nuclear war, the story really doesn't focus that much on the change. Other than the rotten climate and mutants being mentioned, the focus is on Casey and her lover relationships, trials, and adventures with the vampires... all kinds of vampires... mutant vampires, Dracula type vampires, and -my favorite- hot sexy vampires who drink from animals instead of people. This is book one of a trilogy. I found it to be an exciting, complex story that could probably go on longer than the three books. I can't wait to read book 2 (Vampire Queen)
  • Vampire Queen on July 25, 2017

Oh boy... I thought book 1, Vampire Witch, was good, but, I think Vampire Queen topped it! Vampire Queen is book 2 of the Vampire Witch trilogy. It takes Casey deep into the world of the Dracula type vampires as she assumes the role of their queen. Where book 1 featured interaction with Geo and Casey, book 2 focuses more on Casey and Luthias since he is the one to accompany her to the kingdom and act as her body guard and advisor. Spoiler alert: She almost marries Luthias... emphasis on the almost. There is a lot of drama, action, and a few steamy love scenes in this one. Just what a romance should be, in my opinion.
  • Kings & Queens on July 26, 2017

This was the perfect ending to a perfect story. It was great watching Casey 's character grow and mature with every book of this trilogy. It was like watching a real person! I like that she finally got strong enough to make up her mind and end the love triangle. It was also nice to see a happily ever after for more than one of the characters in this story. Although you could probably enjoy reach book as a stand alone, they'd be far more entertaining if you started with book one and and worked your way through. Vampire Witch, Vampire Queen, Kings&Queen... as fantastic story in a 3 book set! Good job Eileen Sheehan
  • Dream Love on July 26, 2017

Since the other stories by this author pretty much revolved around vampires, I wasn't sure I'd like this one, but it didn't need a sexy vampire to fall in love with. Eileen Sheehan's imagination didn't fail me with this story. It's a sweet paranormal love story that still has hot sexy guys to fall in love with, [even if they aren't vampires] with a bit of tragedy, a bit of adventure, and some thrills mixed in. I loved the way she made the characters come alive to the point I laughed, cried, and got annoyed right along with them. Her introduction of aliens and the protagonist, Gertie's, reaction to them was hysterical. All in all, it was a very enjoyable read. Eileen Sheehan... you have quite the imagination!
  • Paper Widow on July 26, 2017

Since I'd read this author's book by her other pen name of Eileen Sheehan, I was eager to read Paper Widow to see how her writing style worked in a historical romance with no paranormal involved. It was fantastic. The story got me thinking about the hardships out west before progression reached it. I found the character's personalities very true to life. I got annoyed with some, felt bad for others, got excited at time and fell in love several times. I'd like to see a sequel to this story since I think it could go on beyond her ending. Whether she's writing as Ailene Frances or Eileen Sheehan, I highly recommend this author's work.
  • Shadow Love Book One on Aug. 20, 2017

This story had an unexpected plot! I loved it. It was full of mystery, peril, and fantasy... not to mention, love. Although Eileen created a love triangle, it wasn't a tight one and the protagonist quickly made her decision on who to be with, which was nice, although, having read most of the author's books that contain love triangles and understanding that this is book one of a trilogy, I'll have to wait and see if she sticks to her decision. All in all it was a really enjoyable read. Even though there was a lot of drama and peril, it was light and easy to get through. It left me entertained without that heavy headed feeling that I sometimes get with other authors. If you haven't tried any of her books yet, I highly recommend them all. I never worry about wasting my money on a purchase of her books. Eileen Sheehan is an author that has never disappointed me.
  • Love at Wolf Creek on Sep. 12, 2017

Ailene Frances also writes as Eileen Sheehan for paranormal romances and I enjoy both styles. "Love at Wolf Creek" is an historical western romance that starts out in Louisiana during the post civil war era. Still at a time when sons and daughters were used as tools for family progression Pauline, the daughter of a meat packing and exporter who is in financial trouble, is offered in marriage to the owner of their biggest Texas cattle supplier. The twist comes with the fact that Pauline's father is misguided as to who the real owner of the ranch is, so the guy gets to act as the hired help come to fetch her while he sees if she's someone he really wants to marry. The story really takes off when Pauline runs away to avoid marrying the man they think owns the ranch because she's fallen in love with the guy who came to fetch her. Filled with action, drama, steamy love scenes, and a few laughs... I highly recommend this novel.
  • A Vampire's Love on Oct. 23, 2017

I really enjoyed this book. It it's a quick read that kept me turning pages and not wanting to put it down. I found the main characters of Genice and Anton very believable. I loved Genice's first encounter with Anton (which I won't explain so that I don't spoil it) The author managed to pull emotions of frustration and dislike towards certain characters out of me, as well as a little laughter and a few sighs and longing. That, to me, is the sign of a good story teller. I seem to be giving all of her books a five star, but she deserves every one of them, if not more. If you haven't tried any of Eileen Sheehan's books, you're missing out on well written and entertaining stories.
