Manon Carpentier

I was born in Montreal, Quebec in 1969 but now I live in Vancouver, BC (in Lions Bay) with my son, Colten, and our Sphynx cat, Faerla Flower. I teach English at an elementary school in Burnaby, BC and love to garden and hike in my free time. "Where the Raven Flies" is my first novel.

This Canadian novel is about family, relationships, and the lives of ordinary people. It describes how any individual is a product of both the loathsome and beautiful characters that make up their past and present and how redemption and hope allow them to forge their own identities. Three families are the focus and although they seem to be unconnected, tragedy links them together.
