Who are your favorite authors?
Authors that I can read again and again are Georgette Heyer and Jane Austen, both of these set their stories in the Regency period but I like to remind people that Austen was writing contemporary works rather than historical as we see it now.
Another pair of authors I can read repeatedly are Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, I found these guys through their collaborative work 'Good Omens' and never looked back.
Ursula Le Guin was one I favoured as a teenager but I've not read the Earthsea books for a good few years now.
Pamela Belle has the honour of being the only author that I have managed to read when the story is in the first person, she also introduced me to the works of John Wilmot, Earl of Rochester.
What is your writing process?
My writing process consists of one steaming hot mug of coffee and an open word doc. I close my eyes call the characters forward and then write as fast as they talk, after a couple of hours I stop to throw the stone cold coffee away and make a fresh one.
