Margaret Fisher

I'm thirty-eight years old, and I live in Brevard, NC. I'm a graduate of Western Carolina University with a degree in cultural anthropology and a minor in professional writing.

I have a life-long love of reading and writing, and my interest in folklore has only intensified that appreciation. I write primarily urban and contemporary fantasy, though occasionally I work in science fiction and magical realism elements- I enjoy writing fantasy stories that the reader could believe could actually happen in our world.

I've written four novels to date, The first, The Gates of Avaelon, has been split into two volumes (the second being The Trials of Avaelon), a young adult contemporary fantasy romance. My second book, Blood Dawn, is an urban fantasy geared more towards adults, and the third book, The Book of Witches, a contemporary fantasy. The second book following The Book of Witches (in the same series), The Storms of Sorrow, is currently under consideration by an agent.

If you buy one of my books, please leave me a rating/review! I love feedback.
