When did you first start writing?
I wrote my very first story back in high school, but lost interest soon after. Which was just as well because it was exactly what a teenager would write. It wasn't until 2010 I seriously made another attempt.
However, between work and other stuff I never managed to do a lot (I'm easily distracted) and I ended up with around a third of novel (Broken Chains). In 2011, however, being dissatisfied with my job, I quit and decided that now that I had the time and the resources I should either begin now or forget the entire thing.
Thus in december 2011, I started on Shadow of the Candle and I didn't stop since.
What do you read for pleasure?
Fantasy mostly, though I avoid the Lord of the Rings derivative stuff. So no dragons if possible. Other genres are the occasional science-fiction novel if the topic tickles my fancy and urban fantasy. I don't read non-fiction with the exception of books that deal with the catastrophic downfall of a company through management incompetence. Can't get enough of those for some reason.
