Marion Froome injured her back severely at work in 2003. This incident turned her world upside down, for she was forced to spend most of the next seven years in bed. During this time Marion started to realise how ill-equipped she was to deal with stressful and challenging situations effectively as she battled with depression, frustration and suicidal thoughts, as well as the excruciating pain of her injury. In the search for answers, she has carried out extensive research in the fields of depression, stress and healing, completing degrees at Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate levels in Metaphysical Science. She is a wonderful example of what can be achieved when we apply sound principles to our lives. She has made it her life’s mission to help others create phenomenal lives for themselves by presenting them with her own simple yet powerful life-tools that she has used to create a wealth of happiness, fulfilment and success.
What is your writing process?
"I really just write about my own experiences and what I learn from difficult situations in a hope that I can save other people some anguish. All through my life I have always tried to find the simplest most effective way to do anything and I guess this habit naturally took over when I hit the hardest moments in my life. The simple steps I use to get myself out of a rut are what I share with others so writing is just my way of sharing these."
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
"I moved to Australia from Germany when I was 5 and a half and this created a lot of difficulties for me with reading and writing. I remember my grade one teacher meeting with my parents and telling them that "This child will never learn to read or write English", well I showed her!! It was because of my grade two teacher and the effort she put in with me that I now love to read and write. The first book I really remember reading was 'A fortunate Life' by A B Facey in year four. The reason I remember this book so distinctly is because my grade four teacher was absolutely amazed that I was reading something so difficult. It just goes to show you that teachers are so important and can effect our lives forever."
