Mark Peters is a photographer and vegan who discovered the beauty of rescued farmed animals after encountering a rooster named Harrison and a turkey named Opal at Poplar Spring Animal Sanctuary.

Mark lives in Baltimore, MD, with his wife Alisa and their dogs Chompers, Pudgie and Schmoo.
