  • The Slayer and the Sphinx on Feb. 04, 2013

The Slayer and the Sphinx was given to me by Adam Bolander in exchange for an honest review. I am not sure what I expected of this book, but I got so much more! This is an excellent book, which would be great for Middle and High School students. Young Adults, even older adults, would enjoy it! Porter was sent to kill a family of Mythics. He did not succeed. But what happened to him and to Sarah, the sphinx he had been sent to kill, could never have been planned! They find out that they must rely on each other to stay alive! I liked this story because it is well-written, and suspenseful. The action began almost from the first word and did not stop until the end. This story of enemies turned friends is a must-read for everyone!
  • Gold Medal Threat on Feb. 06, 2013

This book was given to me, by the author, in exchange for an honest review. Gold Medal Threat is a book that Middle Schoolers and older will enjoy! that includes adults! This story caught my attention from page one, and held it until the end! I was disappointed when it ended.i will wait impatiently for the.next book. Casey, and his friend Johnny, get to go to the Olympics in Australia when Casey's father gets the chance to compete in a golf tournament there. They meet Samantha and Chelsea while eating dinner one evening. The four of them almost immediately are engrossed in an adventure because the boys overgear a conversation while they are in the gym of the hotel in which they are staying. Police have the quartet helping in an investigation connected to the overheard conversation. I liked this story because of the action that began on the first page and continued for the entire story. This well-written story is suitable for anyone interested in Olympics, gymnastics, Australia, or just athletics. The suspense of the story is as unending as the action. This story receives five stars from me. I believe that you will think the same!
