What do your fans mean to you?
My readers are an encouragement to write. I particularly like hearing how I've made you think or feel, when you see a connection to real life or a solution to a problem you face.
What are you working on next?
The story splits after Casindra Lost, and I've been working on the Moraturi Lost and Moraturi Ring, but now I'm getting back to Casindra.

    This is serious hard science fiction - if you like Isaac Asimov or Arthur C. Clarke, then I expect you'll like this series. Wegener admits to their influence on him, and with his own science/engineering background he has worked hard to set a compelling story within a realistic environment encompassing reasonable futuristic developments of our current society and technology. The story is set against a kind of space race - except China, Russia and the US are sharing their competing science and technology, and sharing the results of their cooperation. But the corporate world may not be so happy about that as the stakes begin to rise...
