Martin Peltz



Martin Peltz lives in Cape Town and completed the Short Journalism Course at The Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

Growing up in South Africa in the Sixties and Seventies, he was inspired by thrillers such as The Day of the Jackal and The Eye of the Needle.

He remains a keen student of the life of Nelson Mandela; and hopes his future novels include one set In Denmark; and one set in South Africa, in the Mandela era.

Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
I am sure there were earlier ones, but I remember " The Famous Five " and " The Hardy Boys. "
How do you approach cover design?
I struggle with technology; so at the moment I am happy to leave it to the professionals.
I am aware that the impact of a cover is vital!
