Becoming Hugo Forst
by Martin Price
Naked and badly injured, Private Jack Twinterman is mistaken for a German soldier. Under the name Hugo Forst, he spends the next two years in a Berlin hospital, until finally, in 1947, he is released into a world he knows nothing about. But the presence of the real Hugo Forst is always hanging over him. Did the war claim Hugo, as it did so many, or is he out there somewhere, waiting to return?
