Mary Ann Ozurumba

Biography

Hello! My real name is Mary Ann Ozurumba. A student of Madonna University, Nigeria studying Mass Communications. I've been writing since I was 10. Although, my major inspiration came from reading Nora Roberts books, since then I have been engrossed in reading and writing American-based stories for young adults. I like to write high-school romance/supernatural stories. A Fat Slim Chance is my first completed book and was inspired by true stories, mostly mine. I am currently working on two books FOR THE LOVE OF SIX & MERLIN; FACING THE FUTURE- watch out for them. I love writing what I believe readers would enjoy and I'm a total romantic at heart trying to spread the love.

I'd like to know what you think of my work so contact me on my email; johnsonmaryann5@gmail.com if you enjoyed my work and if you want to see more of my short written works check out my blog.

Smashwords Interview

What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
My greatest joy of writing is when its completed and I read through it and wonder "wow, did I write this?". As a Nigerian who has lived a part of her childhood in Venezuela, I like to think like the white men. So I'm happy when I put that into writing and it comes out great for my readers.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
The first story I ever wrote was a spanish story when I was in Venezuela at the age of 9, called Anna. But my first complete story was called The Magic In Lucy.
