Matthew Dawe

Biography

For years, author Matthew Dawe wondered why his dreams were so vibrant, detailed, and always in color, when his friends couldn’t remember any of their dreams.

As a parent, Matthew told stories to his children at bedtime to help them drift off to sleep. He always wondered if his children had dreams like his. He assumed he couldn’t be the only one to have such amazing dreams.

Matthew grew up in a quiet town south of Boston, Massachusetts. He attended college in Massachusetts and Georgia and received his B.S. from Georgia State University in 1985. It was his mother, Nancy Anne Dawe, who planted the seed of writing and love of stories in him, as she was a successful photojournalist for over 40 years.

Matthew continues to have wild and vibrant dreams, and he hopes that all those who read his stories will enjoy them.
