I grew up in a Christian home where I learned about God's love from church and from hymns. Faith has been a large part of my life, and during and after Charlie's losing bout with cancer, faith became even more important. My husband Daryl and I now have 4 children, 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grands! God has certainly been gracious by giving us this new life together. Not thinking either one of us would re-marry, our surprise was that it was in God's plan. He brought us together in a way only He could. We have a busy life with family, our church family and many friends. We also travel frequently and love making new friends wherever we go. Faith in Christ is still our #1 priority. Sealed In His Love was the result of a new friendship with a lady who encouraged me to put on paper notes from prayer journals. It has been published in Africa and will hopefully travel around the world encouraging Third World women to know personally the love of Christ Jesus and His Amazing Grace. My hope is that the book will help those who struggle with loss find encouragement in God's Word.
The cancer came in quickly and quietly. Stage 4 they told us. Pancreatic cancer with its death notice. This is a look at our journey and how I learned above all else to depend entirely on my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who walked each and every step of my journey with me. I hope the wisdom and guidance God gave me, with His quiet assurance that He was near, will help and encourage you.
