Biography

The Author graduated from the Nautical Institute in Genoa (Italy ) as Captain of Long Course . After a further period of university studies he started his maritime career on merchant ships, sailing both in the Mediterranean and along the routes of the Atlantic and the Pacific.
When he decided to change his life, he settled in Rome, where he specialized as electronic programmer: for many years he worked in Alitalia Italian Airlines as Technical Information Systems; then, in SARA Assicurazioni as Project Leader for Automation of the italian Agencies; and he provided consultancy services in several other companies .
At the same time he experiments with literary initiatives: in 1981, based in Rome, he publishes the newspaper "Salvalire", a precursor in Italian newspaper advertising by free distribution, which runs weekly for a few years and on which he regularly publishes editorials .
With "Operazione Berillio" he debuts in 2009 winning the First Prize of Literature "The Agavi " in the city of Reggio Calabria (Italy), thanks to a meticulous research in the field of nuclear power deals, related to improper management of radioactive waste.
The argument is then expanded, with reference to the effects on the oceans, in the novel "Meduse Connection" published in 2012: fast-paced, with adventures above and below the seas, mixing fact and fiction, it captures the reader in a crescendo of shots scene and it highlights the possible consequences of nuclear dumps on human life and ecosystems on Earth.
"Sciarada per Fiorani" concludes the trilogy of techno-eco thrillers based on the same subject. Published in 2014, the novel was inspired by some episodes little known occurred in Africa.
