RP MAZARELLI is a writer, composer, and researcher. For thirty years his interest in acoustics enabled him to pursue several diverse ventures including owning a music production company, developing acoustic deception software for the US Navy, and supporting computer systems that gauge the impact of sound deprivation on humans.
In 2012 he wrote and produced the webinar Project Management in the Studio: Anatomy of a Recording Session for the Project Management Institute. The webinar has been viewed by project management practitioners worldwide and is currently an on-demand selection at the institute’s web site.
He received his BA from Eastern Connecticut State University, his MS in Information Systems from Salve Regina University, and he is a member of Broadcast Music Inc. (BMI) and the New York chapter of the Audio Engineering Society.
He lives in Connecticut with his wife Carlene, owns a small recording studio, bakes bread "badly”, and travels to the American Southwest when the opportunity presents itself.
