  • The Viscount and the Witch (Riyria Chronicles Short #1) on Aug. 11, 2014

Very good, easy going short story. Fast paced and with interesting characters.
  • Lightning: A Collection of Very Small Stories on Feb. 10, 2015

Good short short stories. Some made me think, some were funny, and some were a little eerie.
  • Slither on Feb. 15, 2015

Reads like 80s horror movie. Fast-paced and not bad at all.
  • Succubi on Feb. 17, 2015

Good read, but buildup was a bit too long and ending could be more satisfying. It's ok, but still leaves a little incomplete feeling. Nevertheless, it's a good read.
  • The Teratologist on Feb. 17, 2015

Liked it a lot. Ending seems a bit rushed, but other than that one of my most memorable Edward Lee read.
  • Divergent Dreams on Feb. 19, 2015

Very enjoyable collection. For me standouts were The Pyre and The Station. The Pyre - very surreal and, in some dark sense, also fun story about society and truth. The Station - space horror story with claustrophobic feel and vivid imagery. Overall, all stories were good and I can't say about any that I didn't like it.
  • I Walk Alone on March 29, 2015

I liked 'It's Always Tough' - that one was nice!
  • Modern Day Japanese Haiku on April 08, 2015

Nice haiku. Most are good and some of them very good.
  • Crossing the Streams on April 08, 2015

Nice stories with interesting premises. All of them are good, but especially I liked first one which is set in very interesting world and has a lot of going on in it.
  • Sons of York on July 28, 2015

Very interesting quick read. Sons of York is a gritty historical novel. Frothbot reminded me a bit of Robert Sheckley stories - interesting, quick and with something to think about in it.
