Mark Berkeland

Mark Berkeland is (against all odds) gainfully employed as a software engineer in San Jose, California, despite a penchant for puns, practical jokes, wordplay, and the occasional Groaner. He attributes this to the fact that most of his technical presentations are completely accurate yet usually in verse, or, verse yet, in song.
A father of 6, he has worked long and hard to perfect the ubiquitous “Dad Joke”; never, ever tell him you’re getting a haircut, or that you’re tired, or ask him to make you a sandwich. When not inflicting his misbegotten humor on his long-suffering wife and children, Mr. Berkeland is a Mentor for the local High School’s Robotics Team, and is an avid Letterboxer.
Blog Post Mortem is Mr. Berkeland’s first book, though he does have a verified history of annoying his coworkers with extremely long, often fictitious emails.
