  • Desperate Measures on June 30, 2014

    They day of this being published was eagerly anticipated by many, myself included. As soon as it downloaded to my tablet, I started reading. Since I had to get to work, I had to put it down, albeit reluctantly! Amy's words are magic on the page. She paints a picture that sucks you in and doesn't let go. I felt as if I were there in Abby's shoes, feeling her struggle with conflicting loyalties, her protective instincts for her babies, and her challenge of life as an Airman's wife. Once I was through with work and able to return to the book, I was once again transported into the story. This is a magnificent read, an awesome story, and I cannot wait for book two! I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys the teleportation into the world of stories!!

    Both "The Seduction of Carolina Bleu" and "A soldier's Homecoming" were wonderful pieces giving glimpses into a sulty domain. "The Dark King & the Bleu Queen" was something else entirely. Typically when I read, I cannot put whatever it is down and read to the end. This story, however, required, neigh, demanded, to be put down so one's heartbeat could return from racing. The Bleu Queen's seduction, uncovering, and blooming into her true self is a wonderful story fraught with tales sure to make your palms sweat and heart beat faster. The prose is wonderful and paints a scintillating vision for the reader... surely dreams after this read are... vivid! Wonderfully written and highly recommended.
