Megan Hamilton
Biography
Megan Hamilton was born in England and immigrated with her family to Canada as a child. She now resides in Ottawa, Ontario. After graduating from university with a degree in English and linguistics she worked as a writer (presumably non-fiction) and editor for the Canadian Federal Government. During this period she wrote several stories, and hid them away due to a combination of shyness and inertia. “Millstones” was actually written in the early nineties. However, a certain strong-willed friend decided that if you’ve written it, you should “put it out there”. Thus “Millstones” is now available because the certain strong-willed friend made it happen.
Other stories, also available, include “The Glass”, a post-apocalyptic novella. A collection of short stories, ranging from the whimsical “Mr Cat and Molly” to the more philosophical “Small Things” and “Christmas Dinner” is also now available.
