Enchantment is not what I expected. I was very pleasantly surprised by the unique perspective on magic the author used. A look into a teenagers journey through adolescence is always fun, but this one was laced with spells, curses, and the most adorable love story. Many readers will be able to relate to Channie's relationship with her parents from their attempt to keep her "chaste", to the struggle to find your own identity while going against them. The ending left me wanting to see more of Channie and Josh's relationship. A very entertaining read for any YA fan!

Blood Warrior has all of the popular elements of a successful Paranormal Romance and it delivers just as well as the others. With romance, vampires, werewolves and demons, there is enough supernatural presence in this book to entertain any P.R. fan. One reason I enjoyed this book so much is the lead character, Alexa, and her general bad ass personality. The story of her coming into her own is not only entertaining, but down right addicting. I recommend Blood Warrior to any Y.A. fan who loves a good romance and a fair amount of ass kicking.
