I was a city girl that discovered that animals are an asset to my life. I own and operate a glass business, along with my husband, Tim. We started the business from scratch and now it is a full service glass shop. We work very hard at our business to make sure that all our customers are totally satisfied, with the help from a nice crew of workers that makes that happen. After the day at the office, we go home to our ranch to attend to our thirty-five animals, which we both enjoy. Every animal has his or her own personality. We adopted most of our animals from a bad environment in which either they were abused or the people decided that they did not want them anymore. I have a strong belief that every animal…no matter what species… has a right to live. Did you ever look into an animal’s eyes right before they were going to be euthanized? There was not a thing wrong with them medically, they were just unwanted…their eyes are crying out for love…everyone needs to love and be loved. Animals give “Unconditional Love” and want nothing in return.

Foster; The naughty pig who changed his ways
by Melanie Zysk
This is a non-fiction story of a very scared little pig. He turns his fears into destruction. He soon finds love at our ranch and does everything in his little heart to try to change. Although this is a children’s book, the adults that have read it also fall in love with Foster because he has a charming personality. You too will fall in love with him.
