In my mid-twenties, after several years working in a range of various admin support roles in the corporate sector, I realised that I didn’t want to spend my life working for someone else. I wanted to be creative and build something of my own. With little business knowledge but lots of passion and a clear vision of what I wanted to achieve, I parted ways with my senior admin role and worked part-time while feeding my creative passion

After 8 months, I gave up my part time role to focus fully on building my creative passion. Since then I have learnt countless valuable lessons and have had some amazing and some not-so-great experiences in business. Most importantly I have been able to achieve what I wanted when I initially set out on this journey! Now, my mind has automatically set higher goals and the journey towards those goals is ongoing!

Meanwhile, I have now built a profitable, creative business from the bottom up – no bank loans, no family or friend investments and to be frank, very little moral support. I am living proof that even with very little resources and support, you can build your dreams if you really want to!
