It is apparent that these Northwest authors have a love of nature and the scenic beauty of the region. The settings were beautifully described. This same thing attracted me to Tony Hillerman novels. Character development is such that the protaganist in this book experiences his first taste of intrigue and interest a murder mystery naturally gives us all. I liked it as a light-hearted read and would buy subsequent books.
