Biography
Wife of an amazing man and mother to four busy children. Mel Schanz loves to write daily. Whether it be the antics of one of her characters or simply in her journal, she enjoys freeing her mind of the stories compiled. She also relishes in great coffee. Columbian, if she can be picky. If not, any hot-bean liquid will suffice.
Born and raised in Kansas, she loves writing about the area and the unknown, (to most) beautiful, land. She adores horses and dogs most, but other animals are almost as loved. If given the choice, she'd chose a quiet corner in her home with a book and coffee over an expensive dinner party.
Happily-ever-after is her literacy passion. Sure, drama is great and sometimes horror or mystery, but there's nothing like a great love story where the couple rides off into the sunset in deep, unconditional love.
