Biography

Fran Steinberg is passionately devoted to Japanese culture. For decades she has been a collector of Asian antiques and modern pieces. Her home is decorated with magnificent Oriental art, figurines, furniture and tapestries. Her study of Japanese culture and the writing of this novel is imbued with her passion. One of her greatest wishes is to visit Japan and study its living history. She has previously written for various newspapers and magazines. This is her first novel.
