Having travelled around Europe by train in my early 20s, I quite enjoyed reading about the travels of Chloe and Gabriella. I enjoyed the descriptions of the places they visited and found their travel companions an interesting group of people.
At first I thought the girls were a bit too perfect main characters to identify with. They always looked good and seemed to catch the attention of all the young men. As I read on, human flaws were revealed and they became easier to relate to.
The story itself kept me reading on. I really enjoyed all the little situations the girls got themselves into in different countries. The wonderful thing about travelling is the unexpected and I would've gladly read even more about such incidents.
All in all I enjoyed the book and would pick up another book written by the same author based on this book.
