Once upon a time I went to school to craft my writing skills, but I wanted a little more from my expensive education than 'just writing classes' so I have an MA from New York University. They liked what I did and even gave me the Herbert Rubin Creative Writing Award when I was an undergrad there. The story that garnered that award, Carmen Jane Doesn’t Work at the A&P was then published in the Gallatin Review.
Since then, I got married, raised two sons, taught private school (have I got stories), worked in the food business, founded a non-profit (now closed) and wrote. I'm also a contributing editor at Vegtosterone.com.
This is where I am now, here, writing and selling my work. Thanks for reading.
