M Harold Page

Biography

M Harold Page's idea of fun is hitting his friends with a sword. A long-time student of Historical European Martial Arts, he teaches authentic German Longsword for an Edinburgh-based club. He also owns a rather battered harness of plate armour left over from his days re-enacting the Wars of the Roses. M Harold types his stories with a sword-scarred hand, while listening to Heavy Metal in a study brimming with history books, weapons, and bits of sweaty protective kit. The War of the Roses series is a chance for him to follow in the footsteps of his heroes Robert E Howard and Harold Lamb, and he's having a "damn good time" writing it.
