Mia Sparrow is a poet, short story writer, unrepentant people-pleaser and restaurant critic. Born in the Bricks, she now resides in a land below the Mason-Dixon Line and rides Kubotas. In her spare time she rescues tortoise hatchlings from poachers in the Galapagos Islands. Her poetry has been translated into Gullah Gullah, Esperanto and Klingon. Her interests include zoophytoplanktonology, muddin, and making soap from goat's milk.
