Michael Gow has been a professional corporate trainer for over 20 years. Along with training, he is a business and personal coach, sings in his church choir (at least that is what he calls it), and active with youth activities. He also participates in the efforts to find forever homes for retired racing greyhounds, and is always seen in the company of at least one of them he had brought home with the promise that he will be finding a good home for them, only to make that home his own.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I love the Kindle. It was my first e-reader, and as I have graduated to tablets, have used the Kindle app. I love the selection on Amazon, how they make it all too easy to buy books, and I no longer have to find room on my book shelves at home to satisfy my voracious reading habit!
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
I'm really new at this, so I don't have a most effective technique. Engineered to Fail was an effort of a lot of stories from my past, so I was able to market to those people I have kept in touch with. Right now, Facebook seems to be the most effective, but I look forward to exploring new avenues.
Have you ever interacted with a manager or a leader at a company and wondered how in the world they ever rose to that position? Engineered to Fail takes a somewhat humorous look at those poor managers and leaders and offers insights as to how they can become better.
